Lead-free termination becomes the norm
Kemet is switching to lead-free as the standard termination finish on tantalum MnO2 and organic polymer KO-CAP products.
Tolerance offerings include F (+/-1%); G (+/-2%); J (+/-5%); K (+/-10%); and M (+/-20%).
New devices include: 1210, 0.22uF, 25V (first to market); 1206, 0.1uF, 25V; 0805, 0.033uF, 25V (first to market); 0603, 0.01uF, 25V (first to market); and 0402, 0.001uF, 25V.
With an operating temperature range between -55 and +125C with zero bias capacitance shift limited to +/-30ppm/C over that range, these HiCV capacitors are ideal for mobile communications, automotive electrical circuits and power supply circuits.
They are especially well suited for audio applications and microphones.
All components are RoHS-compliant and come with 100% pure matte tin-plated terminations for excellent solderability.
They are available in commercial and automotive grades, and meet the requirements of AEC Q200 Rev C.
They range in price from US $0.02 to $3.60 each.
Kemet is continually developing its C0G portfolio and plans to add expanded values of 50 and 100V in the near future.
The company also plans to introduce two additional HiCV values in EIA 1812 and 2220 case sizes, ranging from 0.47 to 1.0uF.
