Lead-free termination becomes the norm
Kemet is switching to lead-free as the standard termination finish on tantalum MnO2 and organic polymer KO-CAP products.
Capacitance values have been extended in 25V rated 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206 and 1210 case sizes.
Tolerances for the new parts span Kemet's whole range of +/-1 to +/-20%.
Values which are first-to-market are: 1210, 0.22uF; 0805, 0.033uF; and 0603, 0.01uF.
The company plans to add new values to its ranges of 50 and 100V parts in the near future.

They are also particularly well suited for audio applications and microphones.
All Kemet's C0G dielectric MLCCs are available in both commercial and automotive grades.
They are RoHS compliant and feature 100% pure matte tin-plated terminations to give excellent solderability.
