Knitter-Switch can now supply slide switches into microminiature consumer applications in addition to its well established professional range for electronics OEMs.

Knitter-Switch is well known for providing the popular ASE, MFP, MSS and MGS ranges of slide switches which offer maximum reliability and performance for high quality professional electronic and electro-mechanical systems.

Newly arrived to complete the range are the MFP miniature and MMP microminiature products for semiprofessional and consumer products.

Terry Moss, General Sales Manager for Knitter-Switch UK comments: "We now believe we have the widest range of slide switches available worldwide.

Some of our switches have set the standards in today's telecommunication industries".

Knitter-Switch slide switches are available in single- or double-pole, double-throw formats with switch contacts arranged as on/off and on/off/on.

Contacts are rated between 12 and 48V DC at up to 4A and 48 to 250V AC at up to 3A.

Contact material may be gold plated phosphor bronze, silver plated copper alloy, silver or gold, with typical mechanical life of up to 60,000 operations.

Connection is via solder pin, with some J-pin connections, and hand soldering or auto-soldering may be employed.
