A model of switch is available for every application in all industries such as electrical panel building, instrumentation, audio/broadcast, telecomms and board level products.

Knitter-Switch offers 12 separate ranges of switch types in three main form factors.

Miniature toggle switches for mains and low voltage switching are available with a number of lever lengths, including the rugged Mustang range.

Models are also available with locking levers to prevent accidental operation.

Waterproof versions are provided for ruggedised instrumentation and outdoor electrical systems.

The subminiature toggle switch range offers low cost, low voltage switching, surface mount assembly.

And finally there are microminiature switches for board-level use.

Contact ratings range from 28V DC at 0.4VA to 250V AC at 3A (125V AC at 6A), with maximum contact resistances of 100 to 10mohm, respectively.

With an operating temperature range of -20 to +80C, life expectancy is a typically 100,000 operations.

Mounting options include solder tags, PCB mounts and surface mount and they may be hand or auto-soldered.

Switching functions available include momentary and latching with single and double pole variants.
