K-RF and Microwave Corp develops DC power filters for high-speed digital circuit applications (above 10GHz), and in particular, high-speed optical communication equipment and computers.

K-RF and Microwave Corp develops DC power filters for high-speed digital circuit applications (above 10GHz), and in particular, high-speed optical communication equipment and computers The company's KHLC Series filter can be used in LCD monitors, asymmetric digital subscriber line (ASDL) equipment, computer servers and media convertors for Gigabit Ethernet

Last year, the company started development work on components for 10Gbit Ethernet and digital circuit applications exceeding 40Gbit/s, in collaboration with one of Japan's leading semiconductor manufacturers.

The Powerfilter will be a vital component in applications for 10Gbit Ethernet, the next generation standard for communication.

The company will shortly begin production of Powerfilter components for 10Gbit Ethernet at its Taiwan production facility, and is aiming to develop business relationships with US semiconductor distributors to represent the product line.
