MMIC packaging expertise on show in California
Labtech will be showcasing its high-tech capabilities at the 37th International Symposium on Microelectronics in Long Beach, California from 16th to 18th November 2004.
The website has a number of customer oriented features including comprehensive datasheets, product brochures and a specific log-in area.
Commenting on the site and its importance as part of the continuing development of the Labtech Microwave brand Robert Lowther, Sales and Marketing Director at the company, says: "Our website is the shop front to our business".
"It is the most effective tool in communicating awareness of Labtech's extensive range of microwave related capabilities and, as a result, a high number of sales leads and enquiries are generated through it".
"For example, microwave engineers who, rather than spending time trawling through magazines or directories looking for new products, services or solutions to problems, now 'Google' their requirements using the Internet".
There is also potential for the site to evolve, as Lowther continues: "The site holds a considerable volume of relevant data-rich, technical information".
"As a result, the new layout enables pages to be uploaded and information to be downloaded very quickly".
"Future plans include an additional web portal where useful open-order and dispatch-status reports may be found by our overseas customers located in different time zones to the UK".
"Labtech continues to experience substantial growth in sales of packaging, MMIC and MIC assembly services and although we are a customer led, bespoke solution operation, the option of selling standard microwave products through an e-commerce enabled area of the website is also a possibility for the future".
