Modules promise low-noise
pre-amplification

Applications requiring low-noise voltage pre-amplification require the Stanford Research SIM-910 and 911, recently introduced by distributor Lambda Photometrics.

Applications requiring low-noise voltage pre-amplification require the Stanford Research SIM-910 and 911, recently introduced by distributor Lambda Photometrics These units have very low output noise, resulting in exceptional noise performance

The digital control circuitry is designed with a special clock stopping architecture in which the microcontroller is turned on only when the settings are being changed.

This guarantees that no digital noise can contaminate low level analogue signals.

Both units are lightweight and portable, measuring only 1.5in wide by 7in deep.

A number of features including a selectable gain from 1 to 100, AC and DC coupling and a 1MHz bandwidth, mean the SIM 910 and 911 are ideal for a wide range of small signal applications.

Both units can be controlled independently or as part of the well established Small Instrument Module series (SIM).

Up to eight different units can be integrated using a single compact platform - maximising user flexibility.

The new SIM range, along with other scientific and engineering instruments is detailed in the new Stanford Research 25th anniversary catalogue. Request a free brochure from Lambda Photometrics ...
