Earwigg debugs serial comms
Available now from Laplace Instruments, Earwigg is a new serial comms development and debugging tool, combining a Windows software utility program and an adapter that fits inline with the serial link.
The additional items now available from Laplace include test equipment for IEC61000-4-6 (conducted RF immunity), IEC61000-4-8 (magnetic fields), CDNs and coupling networks to IEC61000-4-16, striplines and power amplifiers.
Both the -4-6 and -4-8 test kits are complete and fully integrated systems complete with Windows application software for easy and automated operation.
Frankonia's CIT-10 system for IEC61000-4-6 has already found several customers in the UK.
This system enables users to economically perform fully compliant tests on their products without resort to external test laboratories.
It includes the signal generator, power amplifier, RF voltmeter and software.
It will interface to the EUT via CDNs, EM clamps and BCIs to produce a minimum 10V injection over the range 100kHz to 250MHz.
