Lattice Semiconductor has acquired privately held Integrated Intellectual Property (I2P) of Santa Clara, California.

Lattice Semiconductor has acquired privately held Integrated Intellectual Property (I2P) of Santa Clara, California Terms of the stock acquisition were not disclosed and will not have a material effect on Lattice's financial results

I2P is a provider of ASIC and system design services and intellectual property (IP) in the areas of communications, networking, and embedded processor systems.

The acquisition will serve to enhance Lattice's IP development effort and its ability to deliver leading-edge programmable solutions.

"Lattice is committed to offering intellectual property in conjunction with our future programmable products", stated Cyrus Y Tsui, president and chief executive officer.

"We look for I2P to bring communications and networking applications expertise and strengthen our internal IP development effort".

"I2P has provided design and IP development services since 1995", said Milan Gandhi, I2P president and chief executive officer.
