ARM debugger supports latest Philips MCU
Trace32-PowerTools now support the new ARM7TDMI based LPC21XX controller from Philips.
Using the BDM interface Lauterbach's Trace32-PowerDebug module provides very fast access to all of the processor's internal modules such as the on-chip hardware breakpoints, peripherals, registers, EEPROM and Flash memory.
The debugger can access the whole memory map (including registers of internal peripherals) while the code is being executed in real time.
It is also possible to display the contents of the chip's internal trace area.
The debugger supports all members of the HCS08 family working with all the voltage levels for the various MCUs.
The tools provide all the other functions needed by a developer such as an unlimited number of software breakpoints, the programming of the internal EEPROM and Flash memory, a powerful script language and the support of all the main compilers for C and C++.
The Trace32-PowerTools can be connected to the host computer via parallel port, USB or 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet.
