No wait states for in-circuit emulator
Lauterbach now provides full support for the ST10F276 with its Trace32-Fire in-circuit emulator.
Using the JTAG interface on the microprocessor Lauterbach's Trace32-PowerDebug module provides very fast access to all the processor's internal control logic.
Using the JTAG interface a class-leading download speed of 75Kbyte/s can be achieved.
With the on chip Ethernet interface a data transfer rate of up to 10Mbyte/s is possible.
The Trace32 debugger has full access to the cache memory as well as the MMU.
The tools provide all the other functions needed by a developer such as an unlimited number of software breakpoints, Flash-memory programming, a powerful script language and support for all the main compilers for C and C++.
It also includes awareness of all the RTOSs that are commonly used with these controllers.
Trace32-PowerTools can be connected to the host computer via parallel port, USB or 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet.
System integration can be undertaken using the Trace32-PowerIntegrator for analysing the system busses or by using the Trace32-PowerProbe for protocol analysis and to provide trace data from peripheral lines.
Data from these tools can be synchronised to code in the debugger so providing the link from hardware to software.
