Lauterbach is supporting the StarCore DSP using Trace32 together with its JTAG interface PowerDebug The system will provide full debug capability for the StarCore as a stand-alone device and will also support multicore debugging when the StarCore is combined with other cores (eg ARM etc)

All the on-chip trigger and trace features of the chip are fully supported.

The development of DSP-specific code is supported via graphical displays of variables and dedicated commands to support the handling of large arrays.

The combination of the debugger with the easy-to-use PowerProbe logic analyser allows the developer to make real-time measurements to further optimise performance.
