Debuggers support NEC microcontroller families
Lauterbach Trace32 ICD and Trace32 PowerTools debuggers now support the NEC V850E and V850ES microcontroller families.
Lauterbach Trace32 ICD and PowerDebug modules, which can be connected to the host computer over a parallel port, USB or Ethernet, allow fast access to all internal chip units over the processor's JTAG interface.
An unlimited number of software breakpoints in the RAM and Flash memories, debugging at HLL and assembler levels, and support of the most commonly used C and C++ compilers are standard features.
The debugger supports all configurations of the ARC600 family and can be used with other processors, especially with ARM cores, as part of multiprocessor applications.
Support of the ARC700 family and special support of the ARCangle evaluation platform will be available shortly.
