With this in mind Lambda decided to invite Vega's core suppliers to an open day the aim of which was to both strengthen the supply chain and give the suppliers a better idea of the Vega product and Lambda's manufacturing requirements.
Of 53 suppliers invited, all of them turned up.
The open day, held recently at the renowned Landmark Centre close by the company's Ilfracombe plant, included a factory tour and buffet lunch together with detailed presentations from managing director Adam Rawicz and other key Lambda production personnel that illustrated the company's plans for future growth.
Phil Scotcher, Lambda manufacturing director comments: "Vega has gone down a storm in the market place thanks to its unique patented design providing a compact unit delivering the highest levels of reliability and flexibility.
This Lambda core supplier open day is in recognition of the value we place in our relationships with our suppliers, and to further invest in these partnerships for success as we ramp up production and develop new variants of the Vega platform".
The day itself was a tremendous success reflected by the positive feedback from the suppliers, many of whom wrote in to say how well they benefited from the information presented to them during the day as well as expressing thanks for Lambda's hospitality.
