Lambda has signed up two US value-added resellers to provide speedy local sources for its novel Vega range of AC/DC power supplies.

Lambda's novel Vega range of configurable AC/DC power supplies is proving to be very popular throughout the world And while its creation came out of the global collaboration of design teams in the UK, USA and Japan, until recently each and every Vega was built at the company's manufacturing facility in Ilfracombe, North Devon

But not any more.

With the appointment of two of the USA's top value added resellers, Reptron and Avnet IP and E, American customers now have a 'local' source.

As the uptake of Vega gathers momentum in North America so the new agreements with Reptron and Avnet IP and E are aimed at providing US customers with first-rate specialist support and rapid turn around times.

Both companies are to configure, assemble and test the power supplies with a turnaround time of between 24 and 48 hours.

Reptron will be conducting its operations from a newly designed state-of-the-art warehouse in Reno, Nevada, and Avnet IP and E will be operating from its advanced Grapevine Logistic Solutions Centre located in Grapevine, Texas.

Don Naab, President of Lambda said: "These agreements will provide our Vega customers with service second to none.

The Vega is the market's most advanced power supply and has been a big hit in the global market place including the USA.

Through our selected channels, Avnet IP and E and Reptron Electronics, we can provide the ideal customer solution quickly, first time and every time". Request free introductory details about products from Lambda ...
