Brick range extends to 700W
Lambda has extended the appeal of its PAF range of "full-brick" DC/DC convertors with the introduction of new 700W versions.
General-purpose power supplies boost efficiency
The LS50, LS75 and LS100 have 88 to 264V AC inputs, while the LS150 is switch-selectable for 115 or 230V AC, minimising the cost.
Power supplies cater for short-term peaks
Units provide a very cost and space efficient solution compared with oversizing conventional power supplies just to handle the peak current.
"The PAF600F280 is perfect for designers working with high input voltages", commented Dave Buck, Lambda's Business Development Manager.
"It is extremely flexible.
With input voltage rated over a wide 200-400V DC range and a voltage adjustment of -40 to +20%, the PAF600F280 allows a broad range of non-standard voltages to be achieved".
Combining ASIC control with zero voltage switching (ZVS) technology, the PAF600F280 is able to achieve three times the power density of more conventional convertors.
Four new variants have been introduced with output voltages and output currents of: 12V/50A, 24V/25A, 28V/21.5A and 48V/12.5A.
Overcurrent protection is from 105 to 140% and overvoltage protection is from 125 to 145%.
The new units can be connected in series or parallel, providing the flexibility of a wide variety of configuration options.
Features include remote sensing, remote on/off and IOG signal.
The conduction-cooled convertors are designed for tough operating conditions with baseplate operating temperatures from -40 to +100C and operating humidity of 30 to 95% RH. Request a free brochure from Lambda ...
