Power supplies deliver high power density
TDK-Lambda has announced the EFE Series of embedded front-end power supplies designed to deliver high power density, high efficiency and enhanced reliability.
The power supplies have been specially designed for the telecommunication and data communication equipment industries.
Lambda has released two new FPS 1000 models: the FPS1000-24 and FPS1000-48, with the final figures referring to the nominal output voltage.
Maximum output power on the FPS1000-24 is 960W, rising to 1008W on the FPS1000-48.
Each model accepts a continuous input from 85 to 265V, meaning that they are compatible with global standards.
Lambda has incorporated hot swap and redundant parallel operation capabilities, an optional status signal communication interface, and selectable front IEC inlet.
Operating temperature range is 0 to 50C, and the units operate with a typical efficiency of 85/88% at 100/200V AC.
The dimensions of the FPS1000 series are 41 x 127 x 294mm and 1U x 19in when mounted as three units on a single rack shelf. Request a free brochure from TDK-Lambda UK ...
