Lambda has extended its NV-Power range of single- and multi-output power supplies by adding numerous extra output voltage combinations.

Lambda has extended its NV-Power range of single- and multi-output power supplies by adding numerous extra output voltage combinations.

The compact, yet highly efficient supply crams 9.3W/in3, making it ideal for test and instrumentation, broadcast, medical, automation, computing and security applications.

Significant new models include high-power 12 and 24V single-output units capable of 180W in a 127 x 76mm package and suitable for 1U enclosures.

The NV-175, which can be specified with up to five outputs selectable from 1.8, 2.7, 3.3, 5, 12, 15 or 24V combinations, can deliver up to 25A through a single output.

With an efficiency of up to 90%, heat generation is minimised.

Medical applications are easily met due to the extremely low leakage current and curve B EMI performance.

Paul Goodwin, Product Manager with Lambda, commented: "Electronic equipment is becoming more complex, and the requirement for more functionality in a smaller space is growing".

"Our customers want thermally efficient power supplies that have leading edge power density".

"The NV-175, fits that need perfectly and is a valuable addition to Lambda's range".
