Industrial power supplies have five-year warranty
Powerful 1000W supplies mount in 2U of rack space and are particularly well suited to factory automation, test and measurement equipment and automated service equipment applications.
Lambda has extended its successful HWS family of single-output industrial power supplies with the introduction of a powerful 1000W version.
Coming with a five-year warranty, the new HWS1000 series is ideal for powering industrial equipment that demands very high reliability and long field life.
Units are available in ten nominal output voltages - 3.3, 5, 6, 7.5, 12, 15, 24, 36, 48 and 60V - and each model can be adjusted locally, using an external potentiometer, by up to +/-20% of its nominal voltage (-20/+10% for 48 and 60V units) to accommodate nonstandard system voltages.
Additionally, Lambda's HWS1000 models can be adjusted remotely, using a 1 to 6V programming voltage, from 20 to 120% of nominal output voltage (from 20 to 110% for 48 and 60V models, 30 to 120% for 3.3V models).
The HWS1000 series is suitable for operation from inputs in the range of 85 to 265V AC at 47 to 63Hz, or 120 to 330V DC, and meets the tough SEMI F47 (200V AC line only) powerline sag specifications and EN61000-3-2 harmonic correction standards.
Remote on/off, remote sense, DC good and current-share controls and signals are standard.
In addition, a front panel mounted green LED is lit when the supply is on.
Overcurrent and overvoltage protection is also provided.
The power supplies have a high-quality internal fan and can be operated in a -10 to +71C ambient.
The units come in a compact footprint 126.5 x 82 x 240mm, making them suitable for mounting in a 2U rack, and weigh just 3200g.
Units within this range are particularly well suited to factory automation, test and measurement equipment and automated service equipment applications.
The new HWS1000 series power supplies from Lambda meet EN55011/55022 Class B EMI standards (radiated and conducted), are CE marked, and are safety-approved to UL/CSA/EN60950-1 and EN50178 specifications.
They also meet EN61000-4-x immunity standards.
