New from Logic Technology, the latest programmers from BP Microsystems are the BP Win 4.52 and BP Dos 3.89 which offer additional support for the MAX II CPLD family from Altera By extending support for the MAX II device family, BP Microsystems' end users can now take full advantage of the industry's lowest-cost CPLD

Altera's MAX II devices drive cost and power improvements to higher densities, enabling designers to use MAX II devices in place of higher-cost or higher-power ASSPs and standard logic devices.

The MAX II device family is supported on BP Microsystems full product line of device programmers in the 100 TQFP, 144 TQFP and 256 FBGA package styles.

Support for the 324 FBGA package style is scheduled for the first week of June.

"By working closely with Altera, we can provide support for the industry's latest and most advanced technology", said Loc Ha, Device Support and Hardware Engineering Manager at BP Microsystems.

"We combine technical leadership, innovative design and state-of-the-art manufacturing practices to enable our customers to reduce costs, improve performance and bring their products to market faster".
