Lenslet will demonstrate the world's first commercial optical processor at the Milcom 2003 exhibition next week in Boston.

The EnLight optical DSP boosts the performance of digital signal processing, setting new performance levels of tera (one trillion, or 10 to the power of 12) operations per second, in a single board.

Lenslet's processing power breakthrough will improve the performance of existing systems and accelerate the development of new ones, accelerating signal processing by three orders of magnitude.

The EnLight enables next generation applications including: video compression; defence applications such as high resolution radar and sophisticated EW; antiterrorist solutions; and advanced communication infrastructure.
