Motherboards use latest Intel chipset
A new series of P4I865 motherboards supports Hyper-Threading and incorporate Intel's latest 865 chipset with 800MHz FSB.
A new series of P4I865 motherboards supports Hyper-Threading and incorporate Intel's latest 865 chipset with 800MHz FSB This latest range comprises the P4I865PEA (Intel 865PE); P4I865GA (Intel 865G); P4I865PA (865P)
The P4I865PEA, designed for high-end desktop users, combines Intel's 865PE chipset, an 800MHz FSB and support for dual-channel DDR400 memory.
Other features include AGP8X, Serial ATA and IEEE1394.
The basic model costs around GBP 75 plus VAT.
The board also boasts eight USB 2.0 ports, onboard six-channel 20bit AC97 audio as well as a Gigabit Ethernet network adapter.
Included in the P4I865PEA board are QDI's proprietary technologies such as Pro-StepEasy, (for over frequency), Pro-RecoveryEasy (for protection of computer data), Pro-UpdateEasy (for easy upgrading), Pro-LogoEasy (for customised logos), BootEasy, BIOS-ProtectEasy and Hyper-Threading Detector.
