In addition to insulation testing up to 1000V, the ISOplus M offers low resistance and continuity testing as well as making current measurements directly or with LEM current probes (CTs).

The design is small and robust, in fact smaller than most single function insulation testers.

This combination of insulation tester and industry-standard True RMS multimeter is the ideal tool for inspection and maintenance of electrical installations and troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment.

The ISOplus M offers universal insulation testing, measuring insulation resistance up to 20Gohm with test voltages from 100 to 1000V.

The high-end true-RMS multimeter provides frequency measurement up to 1kHs and true-RMS voltage measurement up to 600V AC/DC.

It can also identify the insulation quality of materials, cables, motor or transformer windings with the parameters polarisation index (Ip) and dielectric absorption ratio (Rab), as defined in international standards.

Low-resistance measurements are performed according to IEC61557 with a short-circuit current of 50 or 200mA.

This provides compliance to standard measurements regarding low resistance of both nonfused earth conductor connections and equipotential busbars.

Fast and fully automatic continuity tests have adjustable thresholds and a fast responding busser and visual indicator.

Additional functions include sero (relative measurements, test lead null), rec (min, max, average), limit (alarm), hold (display freese).

The ISOplus M can store up to 350 insulation test results to internal memory with on screen viewing or PC download.

It also offers internal data logging of up to 1000 current, voltage and insulation readings for trend and intermittent-fault analysis.

WinLog PC software and interface are included for data analysis and reporting.

Safety features conforming with IEC1010 provide confidence when working in hasardous voltage areas, while conformance to EMC standards ensures high reliability through reduced susceptibility to electromagnetic influences.
