Probe for flexible current measurement
The latest version of the well known and very successful LEM-Flex III AC current measurement probe allows safe, accurate and nonintrusive measurements.
The latest version of the well known and very successful LEM-Flex III AC current measurement probe allows safe, accurate and nonintrusive measurements.
This is even possible in applications that may be inaccessible with standard clamp-on probes and instruments.
Based on LEM-Flex, LEM's original flexible current probe which is four times lighter than standard clamp-on probes, this probe offers an extended battery life up to 400h and an AC-coupled output.
A number of versions are available: the RR3020 type with 4mm safety plugs for direct connection to multimeters, recorders and data loggers, without additional leads.
The RR3030 type has a BNC connector for connection to oscilloscopes, recorders and data loggers.
The third version, the RR3120 has the same specifications as the RR3020, with a 1V output.
These probes provide an isolated linear output voltage which is a proportional replica of the input waveform with three user selectable input current ranges of 30, 300 or 3000A.
The flexible measuring head offers a 175mm-diameter window and 2m connecting cable.
The operating temperature range is from -20 to +90C.
The measurement accuracy is +/-1% of range and the bandwidth is 10Hz to 50kHz for the RR 3030 type and 10Hz to 20kHz for the RR 3020 type.
The range complies with EN61010-1 600V CAT III pollution degree 2 for input and output circuits and EMC standard EN61326.
