A new range of UV laser cable marking systems meets the needs and budgets of small maintenance centres.

Back in 1989 Laselec pre-empted this demand by creating the first cable markers in the world to use the Nd-YAG UV laser process.
Now, as a complement to its line of ULYS machines dedicated to medium and large production runs, the MRO 200 meets the needs of small maintenance centres.
This technology, initially reserved for aircraft manufacturers and their main suppliers, is attracting the attention of increasing numbers of subcontractors.
It is also raising interest with airline companies wishing to rework and produce their own cables and spare harnesses.
Laselec is the only manufacturer of laser markers in the world to have an R and D team that develops and manufactures its cable marking machines from start to finish, particularly the laser sources.
This complete line allows the Toulouse-based company to respond to the key word in the aeronautical industry: flexibility.
As Marie-Line Clemencon-Laval, Sales Director at Laselec says: "The flexibility of Easyprod software and our product adaptability, means that we can easily adjust our markers within the MRO 200 range to meet our customers increasing production needs".
The company, which exports more than 70% of its production, has recently strengthened its position in the USA, by launching a US subsidiary in Arlington (Texas).
It now has its eyes set on developing in India, a target market for the Grand Prix Export 2005 mission.
Laselec will be exhibiting at the NBAA 58th Annual Meeting and Convention in New Orleans, 15th to 17th November 2005.
The company will also participate in the Paris Air Show between 13th and 19th June 2005 at Le Bourget, where visitors will be able to watch real-time aeronautic cable marking by ultraviolet laser in the "Aerospace Vallee" pavilion, Hall 4, Booth G142.
