The module covers: interpreting manufacturers' datasheets; the design of combination logic circuits using discrete logic; construction of combination logic circuits using medium scale integration; and synthesising combinational logic using programmable devices.

A very worthwhile module aimed at technician/engineer/supervisor level and is worth 1 credit.
