Manufactured in Japan by ceramic filter specialist UBE Electronics, the UF series includes low-profile surface-mount devices for use in mobile phones, as well as high-performance dielectric filters aimed primarily at applications in wireless infrastructure.

With maximum insertion loss figures as low as 1.1dB, the UF series offers a typical maximum VSWR of 2.0 and attenuation values up to 55dB.

These miniature devices have overall dimensions ranging from 4.1 x 3.5 x 2.1 to 13.5 x 8.6 x 3.3mm, and they can operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -40 to +85C.

In addition to its range of standard filter products, UBE is also geared up for manufacturing custom designs in the shortest possible timescales.

Mainly suitable for high-volume telecommunications applications, the custom service involves mechanical tuning of the devices to produce the filtering performance required for the specific combination of components found in each particular circuit design.
