Now available from Link Microtek is a new range of low-cost, plastic-packaged MMIC voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) that feature a high level of integrated functionality.
Manufactured by Narda, the new coupler is equally at home in the laboratory and in the field, having been designed to achieve its performance specifications over the entire operating temperature range of -55 to +85C.
The device's coupling coefficient is specified as 10dB, and insertion loss and mainline VSWR are as low as 1.5dB and 1.4:1, respectively, over the frequency range 1.0 to 20.0GHz.
Available with either 2.9 or 2.4mm connectors, the 4229-10 coupler has overall package dimensions of 91.4 x 13.5 x 18.5mm (excluding connectors) and weighs 90g.
