Phase-locked DRO can take the knocks
The new Narda 15155A phase-locked dielectric resonator oscillator features a robust construction and can be specified with output frequencies ranging from 6 to 38GHz.
The new Narda 15155A phase-locked dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO) features a robust construction and can be specified with output frequencies ranging from 6 to 38GHz As well as being suitable for a variety of applications in commercial wireless infrastructure, the device has been designed to withstand severe shock and vibration, so it can also be used in military systems
The DRO offers an operating temperature range of -30 to +75C and an exceptionally low phase noise figure of typically -114dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset.
It operates from a 10V power supply and uses a 100MHz reference frequency generated by an external crystal as standard, although an optional internal reference can be specified if required.
Using low-cost surface-mount technology, the 15155A device is ideal for high-volume designs.
It has overall dimensions of 57.2 x 57.2 x 20.8mm and weighs 170g.
