Link Microtek has appointed Jeff Hinsley to the new position of Instrument Sales Engineer.

Link Microtek has appointed Jeff Hinsley to the new position of Instrument Sales Engineer.

The appointment follows Link's decision to reorganise its sales force into three groups specialising in instruments, components and high-volume surface-mount products.

This new structure is designed to help the company continue the steady expansion it has enjoyed since its formation in 1995.

Hinsley joins Link Microtek from Ansoft, where he was involved in the development and promotion of circuit and finite-element simulation tools, as well as managing key accounts in the wireless sector.

His previous sales experience also includes four years at Rohde and Schwarz, where his responsibilities covered RF and optical test and measurement products.

In his new role at Link Microtek, Hinsley will cover the whole of the UK and Ireland, dealing with customers for products such as the Narda safety test solutions range of RF radiation monitors and meters, Focus Microwaves' automated microwave test and measuring equipment, and the range of communication recording systems manufactured by JEI.
