New and exclusive in the UK from Link Microtek, the TriQuint Semiconductor TGA2803 is a transimpedance amplifier/gain block for CATV distribution systems.

New and exclusive in the UK from Link Microtek, the TriQuint Semiconductor TGA2803 is a transimpedance amplifier/gain block for CATV distribution systems Fabricated using proven GaAs technology, the TGA2803 addresses many of the stringent performance requirements of CATV systems, including flat gain and extremely low noise and distortion

The new device provides a gain of 20dB over its wide operating frequency range of 40MHz to 1GHz, with a typical noise figure of 1.5dB and a low input referred noise of 5pA/(rt)Hz.

Composite triple-beat distortion and composite second-order distortion are less than -70dBc at 40dBmV output, and the 75ohm output third-order intercept is typically 46dBm.

Housed in a standard 4 x 4mm 20-lead MLP (micro-leadframe package), the TGA2803 is operated self-biased from a single supply of +8V and is 100% DC and RF tested to ensure performance compliance.
