Integrated VCOs pack in more microwave functions
Now available from Link Microtek is a new range of low-cost, plastic-packaged MMIC voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) that feature a high level of integrated functionality.
The MS-SMA series consists of eight models, offering either SMA or Type N connectors, 12 or 28V DC actuating voltage and a choice of SPDT, multiple-throw or transfer switch configurations.
Narda's actuator design gives the switches exceptional long-term reliability, guaranteeing a minimum of 1 million operations with no noticeable degradation in performance.
The devices' RF specifications equal or exceed industry standards: as well as a maximum insertion loss of just 0.2dB, the switches feature a high isolation of 80dB and a VSWR of 1.2:1.
They are suitable for use in ambient temperatures ranging from -10 to +60C.
