The directors, staff and key suppliers of Link Microtek recently celebrated the company's tenth anniversary with a leisurely cruise up the River Thames from Putney Pier to the Tower of London.
The directors, staff and key suppliers of Basingstoke-based Link Microtek recently celebrated the company's tenth anniversary with a leisurely cruise up the River Thames from Putney Pier to the Tower of London, followed by presentations, dinner and entertainment in the walkway that spans the top of Tower Bridge, which enjoys spectacular views over the city Link is a manufacturer, representative and distributor of RF and microwave components and equipment, serving customers in the communications, industrial and military markets

Now available from Link Microtek is a new range of low-cost, plastic-packaged MMIC voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) that feature a high level of integrated functionality.
The company was founded in 1995 by Managing Director Steve Cranstone and Operations Director Mike Neale, who were joined shortly afterwards by fellow directors Hugo Bibby and Tony Norris.
As well as staff and their partners, the celebration was attended by a number of individuals who have helped the company along the way, including several overseas visitors representing Link's principals in the USA and Germany, notably from L3 Narda Microwave.
Link Microtek's growth continues at a healthy rate as the company moves towards it long-term goal of becoming the dominant supplier of RF and microwave components and subsystems in the UK and Ireland.
