Integrated VCOs pack in more microwave functions
Now available from Link Microtek is a new range of low-cost, plastic-packaged MMIC voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) that feature a high level of integrated functionality.
The AS-SMA series consists of four models, offering attenuation ranges of 0-1dB in 0.1dB steps, 0-10dB in 1dB steps, 0-50dB in 1dB steps and 0-70dB in 10dB steps.
Typical average power-handling capability is 1W, and the devices have VSWRs between 1.2:1 and 1.5:1, depending on frequency.
All models are equipped with stainless-steel SMA connectors, providing outstanding reliability and an expected life of over 1 million steps.
Available from stock with no minimum order quantities, these low-cost step attenuators measure 38.1mm in diameter (excluding connectors) and have overall lengths ranging from 69.9 to 136.5mm.
