Link Microtek has introduced two new series of low-cost coaxial fixed attenuators that feature stainless-steel connectors for longer life Ideal for use in commercial wireless infrastructure applications, the Narda Microwave AF-BNC and AF-TNC series attenuators are particularly suitable for impedance matching or as a buffer to prevent interaction between two devices

The AF-BNC series has an operating frequency range of DC to 3GHz and an average power rating of 2W, with VSWR values ranging from 1.15:1 to 1.4:1 depending on frequency.

The AF-TNC attenuators are rated at 5W and operate from DC up to 6GHz, with VSWRs from 1.1:1 to 1.35:1.

Available from stock with no minimum order quantities, both series can be specified with attenuation levels of 3, 6, 10 or 20dB.

The BNC-style attenuators have overall dimensions of 14.2 x 35.6mm (diameter by length), whereas the TNC versions measure 15.9 x 54.6mm.
