Root has designs on microwave products
Link Microtek has appointed Philip Root to the position of microwave design engineer.
Link Microtek has appointed Philip Root to the position of microwave design engineer He joins the company after 16 years with Litton Precision Products International, where he was a sales support engineer for microwave products, with additional responsibility for the administration of the company's ISO9001 quality system
Prior to Litton, Root was employed as a Senior Engineer in the Microwave Department of Marconi Command and Control Systems, and his early career was spent as a Production Engineer with English Electric Valve Co.
In his new role with Link Microtek, he will take on a wide variety of design and test responsibilities relating to the company's extensive range of in-house manufactured waveguide products.
