New coaxial combline bandpass filters are precision engineered to achieve large passband-to-stopband ratios and Q factors as high as 3500.

Link Microtek has added a new series of coaxial combline bandpass filters to its range of in-house manufactured products Known as the AMQ-Comb series, the filters are precision engineered to achieve large passband-to-stopband ratios and Q factors as high as 3500

The combline filters consist of a set of coupled circular resonators between two parallel ground planes, each resonator having an associated variable loading capacitor.

The filters are available in designs covering the frequency range 500MHz to 3.0GHz, with bandwidths from 3% to 50%.

They are equipped with SMA female connectors and are small in size.

For example, a unit with 2.2GHz centre frequency has overall dimensions of just 73 x 23 x 11mm.

Manufactured to the highest standards under Link Microtek's BS EN ISO9001:2000 quality management system, the AMQ-Comb filters feature a lightweight aluminium construction with an Alochrom finish.
