Bishop expands waveguide capacity
Link Microtek has expanded its production team with the appointment of Norman Bishop as Toolmaker/General Machinist.
Responding to an upsurge in demand for the company's range of in-house manufactured waveguide products, Basingstoke-based Link Microtek has expanded its production team with the appointment of Norman Bishop as Toolmaker/General Machinist He joins Link from ITT Industries, where he was responsible for tooling design and manufacture, as well as the servicing and maintenance of automatic-assembly and injection-moulding machines
With his long experience in the manufacturing industry and his traditional toolmaking skills, Bishop will play an important role in the manufacture of Link's precision-engineered waveguide products, which are used in high-technology applications such as microwave communication systems.
