Now available from RF and microwave component specialist Link Microtek is a range of microwave amplifiers that are competitively priced yet provide the quality and performance required for space, military and commercial communications applications Manufactured by L-3 Narda West, the new amplifiers cover the frequency range 0.5 to 18GHz and can be specified for either wideband or narrowband applications

Operating from a single +12.0 to +15.0V DC input, they offer low typical noise figures ranging from 1.3 to 5.5dB, a maximum input VSWR of 2.0:1 at 50ohm, and a maximum RF power of +20dBm (CW) or 30dBm pulse.

Key features include internal voltage regulation, gain and phase matching/tracking, external gain control with a 25dB dynamic range, and optional temperature compensation over the range -54 to +85C.

Equipped with SMA coaxial input/output connectors as standard, the amplifiers are housed in compact, rugged, hermetically sealed packages.
