Integrated VCOs pack in more microwave functions
Now available from Link Microtek is a new range of low-cost, plastic-packaged MMIC voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) that feature a high level of integrated functionality.
Operating from a single +12.0 to +15.0V DC input, they offer low typical noise figures ranging from 1.3 to 5.5dB, a maximum input VSWR of 2.0:1 at 50ohm, and a maximum RF power of +20dBm (CW) or 30dBm pulse.
Key features include internal voltage regulation, gain and phase matching/tracking, external gain control with a 25dB dynamic range, and optional temperature compensation over the range -54 to +85C.
Equipped with SMA coaxial input/output connectors as standard, the amplifiers are housed in compact, rugged, hermetically sealed packages.
