High-power transistors take to the air
Microsemi transistors incorporate an internal pre-match, which enables them to deliver the best possible performance over their entire operating frequency range.
Link Microtek has expanded its transistor offering with the addition of a family of high-power devices aimed at avionics, radar and tactical air navigation applications Manufactured by Microsemi, these high-gain transistors use bipolar, LDMOS or VDMOS technology for maximum design flexibility and are available in a wide variety of package styles

Integrated VCOs pack in more microwave functions
Now available from Link Microtek is a new range of low-cost, plastic-packaged MMIC voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) that feature a high level of integrated functionality.
They cover a broad frequency range of 1MHz to 3.5GHz and operate from supply voltages between 12.5 and 50V DC.
Providing high power outputs to minimise the number of devices required for the final stage, the Microsemi transistors incorporate an internal pre-match, which enables them to deliver the best possible performance over their entire operating frequency range.
The transistors feature gold-plated packages for long lifetime and are produced using automated assembly methods to achieve lot-to-lot consistency.
All parts are subjected to automatic RF testing over their operating band to ensure that they meet their specified performance levels.
