The XO5120 is suitable for use in applications such as WiMAX basestations, microwave communications systems and test and measurement equipment.

Link Microtek has added the XO5120 oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) to its range of MtronPTI frequency control products.

The XO5120 delivers stability and excellent phase noise performance over a wide range of operating temperatures.

The new device achieves a stability of +/-2 parts per billion over commercial temperatures and +/-3 parts per billion over industrial temperatures, while phase noise is specified as -155dBc/Hz for a 10kHz offset at a nominal frequency of 10MHz.

Providing the systems designer with an extremely precise and stable reference timing source, the XO5120 is suitable for use in applications such as WiMAX basestations, microwave communications systems and test and measurement equipment.

The OCXO supports supply voltages from 3.3 to 12V DC and is available with HCMOS/TTL or sinewave outputs and a choice of operating frequencies ranging from 10 to 100MHz.

The XO5120 has overall dimensions of 36.5 x 27.5 x 16.0mm and can be supplied in either through-hole or surface-mount packages.
