The Idec A-series range of miniature control units from Live Electronics comprise a wide range of pushbutton switches and pilot lights to fit panel cutouts of 8, 10 and 12mm diameter.

Typical applications include test and measurement, medical electronics and instrumentation.

Small and compact, the switches and pilot devices are ideal for space-sensitive applications with a body length of only 22mm.

They are also lightweight, weighing a mere 2 to 4g and boasting a robust construction.

The 12mm versions are available sealed to IP65 and come with a wide range of accessories such as dust-covers and PCB mounting sockets.

Key specifications include a long life with a minimum of 100,000 mechanical operations and 50kh typical LED life.

Operating temperature is -25 to +55C.

The devices also offer high shock and vibration resistance.

The Idec A-series switches feature snap-acting double-throw contacts, UL-CSA approval, latching or momentary switching action and an engraveable marking plate.
