Chokes cut noise across the board

Common- and differential-mode chokes are cost effective, compact and suitable for AC and DC applications up to line voltage and frequency.

Available now from Live Electronics, the MC series of common-mode and MD series of differential-mode chokes from Dicep EMC are cost effective, compact and suitable for AC and DC applications up to line voltage and frequency Both series include nominal current ratings from 0.5 to 8A with a PCB footprint of 25.4 x 10.26mm and are available in low minimum order quantities

The standard open-frame construction units feature operating temperature range -25 to +100C, 250V AC rated voltage and line frequency to 440Hz, and an encapsulated option is also available.

Used in power supplies, in particular in railway signalling and communications equipment, both the MC and MD devices are suitable for any application where it is necessary to reduce electrical noise in a circuit.
