Two-stage filter system goes mobile
Filtronic filter captures all soldering pollutants by using the combination of a HEPA microfilter for particulates in combination with a high performance gas separation filter.
The MG series of stand alone mobile filter systems from Link Hamson is the latest development of the company's proven Filtronic filter technology The Filtronic filter captures all soldering pollutants by using the combination of a HEPA microfilter for particulates in combination with a high performance gas separation filter

Assembly labels resist high temperatures
Use of a green high-temperature label at the start of the process reduces both the number of labels required, and the number of label placements, providing a significant cost saving.
Filters to clean up on lead-free work
Filter systems have a unique micro-gas filter to provide the performance that is required in demanding environments.
Users benefit from polluted process gases being fully captured in the filter and a low sound level.
Long filter lifetime provides low cost of ownership.
The filters have been developed considering each process step: capture of the polluted air, dwell time in the gas filter to disposal of the used filters.
It is important to eliminate the pollutant gas molecules in the process air, and not only the particulates, so in addition to a HEPA class microfilter with greater than 99.97% DOP, the filters have a deep bed of gas filter media consisting of activated charcoal and chemisorbant, to fully adsorb pollutant gas molecules.
The suction capacity is designed to give optimum air velocity and dwell time in the filter so as to eliminate all pollutants.
If the airspeed is too fast through the filter then the dwell time is too short to fully capture the gas pollutant gas molecules.
Gas and particulate filters are integrated into one unit to avoid leakage and to keep particles trapped when changing filters.
The MG filter systems have a low sound level; in the operator zone it's a maximum of 55dB(A), and so there is no noise disturbance in the working area.
The systems can be connected to a wide range of extraction arms and nozzles for optimum capture of polluted air.
The filter systems are mobile, can easily be moved between workstations and are independent from fixed installations.
There is minimal service requirement thanks to the use of brushless motor technology, long filter lifetime with filter life indicator and low energy consumption.
