DTI grant helps projector project move
on
Light Blue Optics has been awarded a GBP 75,000 grant towards the development of its prototype miniature colour projector.

Future products will range from truly pocket-sized miniature projector accessories for iPods, phones, and other mobile devices, to a wide array of consumer electronics products with integrated projection capabilities.
In February 2006, Light Blue Optics announced a 'micro-mini' monochrome unit which is similar in size and shape to a typical matchbox (62cm3 in volume).
The EEDA award will help contribute to the next generation of this unit, which will use three miniature lasers to display full colour video images.
In addition, the company is expanding its development team to help meet increased levels of customer demand.
