MRI A fabric from Laird Technologies has been specifically engineered and developed for superior shielding performance in magnetic resonance imaging applications.

MRI A fabric from Laird Technologies has been specifically engineered and developed for superior shielding performance in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) applications Providing better than industry standard EMI shielding throughout the entire MRI frequency range (25 to 200MHz), this patented, proprietary technology is designed to remain stable over the average life of a typical MRI room

This unique material is a nickel/copper polyester nonwoven fabric; its base layer is copper - allowing high conductivity; its outer layer is manufactured from nickel, to provide comprehensive corrosion and oxidation resistance.

This combination results in an architectural material ideal for shielding while providing outstanding resilience.

The MRI A fabric is great for OEMs manufacturing MRI equipment or constructing MRI rooms, is flexible and lightweight enough to shield complex shapes.

Application is via several standard construction techniques - helping to reduce crucial installation times to ensure MRI facilities are online with minimal disruption.
