The new X-SMQ surface-mount fuse holder system developed by Wickmann is designed to allow quick and easy replacement of fuses without the need for desoldering.

The new X-SMQ surface-mount fuse holder system developed by Wickmann is designed to allow quick and easy replacement of fuses without the need for desoldering Supplied pre-assembled with Wickmann fast-acting or time-lag wire-element SM fuses, the system will cut maintenance costs and be especially valuable for equipment located in remote areas

Optimised for protecting devices such as base stations and recording and measuring instruments, the systems are rated at up to 125V at currents from 62mA to 7A for Wickmann quick-acting series 424 and 500mA to 5A for time-lag series 425.

The X-QMS systems are RoHS compliant, soldering heat resistance is 26OC for 10s, or 280C for 5s, and are compatible with lead-free reflow soldering processes.The operating temperature range -55 to +125C.

The holder plastic meets UL94V0 and the terminals of the holder are copper alloy, Ni+Sn plated lead free.

The holders and fuses are supplied in 16mm blister tape, with 1500 pieces on a 380mm reel.
