Fuses go lead-free
Littelfuse has introduced lead-free versions of its axial-leaded 2AG series of subminiature glass fuses, 3AG glass and ceramic fuses, 3AB ceramic fuses and 5 x 20mm glass and ceramic-bodied fuses.
Optimised for protecting devices such as base stations and recording and measuring instruments, the systems are rated at up to 125V at currents from 62mA to 7A for Wickmann quick-acting series 424 and 500mA to 5A for time-lag series 425.
The X-QMS systems are RoHS compliant, soldering heat resistance is 26OC for 10s, or 280C for 5s, and are compatible with lead-free reflow soldering processes.The operating temperature range -55 to +125C.
The holder plastic meets UL94V0 and the terminals of the holder are copper alloy, Ni+Sn plated lead free.
The holders and fuses are supplied in 16mm blister tape, with 1500 pieces on a 380mm reel.
