LEDs are fully RoHS compliant
Luxeon LEDs are fully compliant with the EU RoHS Directive.
Philips Lumileds Lighting Company's Luxeon LEDs are fully compliant with the EU RoHS Directive that comes in to force across Europe from 1st July 2006 The company's AlInGaP SnapLED and AlInGaP SuperFlux LEDs also meet the directives now being implemented
Lighting designers, specifiers, architects and manufacturers working with these LEDs are assured they are compliant with the legislation and contain no lead, mercury or toxic gasses.

The list includes:Luxeon K2 LEDs, Luxeon I LEDs, Luxeon III LEDs, Luxeon V Star LEDs, Luxeon Flash LEDs, Luxeon Warm White LEDs, Luxeon Dental LEDs, Luxeon Portable PWT LEDs, SnapLED mid-power LEDs and SuperFlux mid-power LEDs.
