LEM has three families of split-core current sensors that can be clamped around a busbar or cable without moving the conductor.

LEM has three families of split-core current sensors that can be clamped around a busbar or cable without moving the conductor The HOP, HTR and HT families use open-loop Hall-effect technology to provide accurate AC, DC and pulse current measurements for primary nominal currents from 50 to 2000A RMS

Operating from a power supply of +/-12 to +/-15 V, the new current sensors provide an instantaneous +/-4V, +5V or 4-20mA output proportional to the measured current.

Typical accuracy is +/-2% and typical linearity is between 0.5 and 1.0%.

The series meets the high requirements for current measurement in telecom power supply, battery monitoring and power distribution applications.

All models are CE marked, complying with the European EMC directive 89/336/EEC.

Electrical, environmental and mechanical parameters meet the requirements of EN50178.

The sensors are available with circular or rectangular apertures, making them simple and quick to install in retrofit applications.

For all of these transducers, LEM Components offers a 5 years warranty.
