Principal picks up distributor

Jauch Quartz has acquired Logic Electronic Components, its sole distributor in the UK and Ireland for the past 20 years.

Jauch Quartz has acquired all shares of Logic Electronic Components, the company that has acted as its sole distributor in the UK and Ireland for 20 years.

Jauch Quartz is Europe's largest manufacturer of frequency control products, with factories and R and D facilities in Asia and Germany.

Jauch is keen to continue Logic's main activities with its other distribution arms, which covers Jianghai (electrolytic capacitors), NIC Components (passive components) and Cambion (e-mech and inductive products).

Logic has increased turnover by 35% over the last 12 months and Jauch is keen to continue this growth with the core business with the intention to increase its own crystal and oscillator business in the UK and Ireland.

The current staff will remain and new staff will be immediately recruited to expand the UK workforce, which will benefit customers and suppliers alike.
